Job Description
As an Industrial Painter, you'll play a key role in ensuring our custom hydraulic cylinders leave our facility with a professional, durable finish. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Prepare hydraulic cylinders and components for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and inspecting surfaces. Apply primers, paints, and protective finishes using spray and other painting equipment. Mix paints and coatings to meet quality and durability specifications. Inspect finished products and perform touch-ups as needed. Package finished cylinders according to shipping specifications and quality standards. Verify counts and prepare completed orders for shipment. Maintain painting equipment, work areas, and proper ventilation systems. Handle paint and solvent waste according to environmental and safety requirements. Work closely with team members and production leadership to meet quality and production goals. Support continuous improvement efforts and help identify better, safer, and more efficient ways to work. Assist in training other team members as needed. Qualifications Industrial painting experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate. Manufacturing, production, automotive paint, body shop, powder coating, or related experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions. Dependable, reliable, and team-oriented. Good communication skills and positive attitude. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment. Physical Requirements This position works in a manufacturing environment and involves exposure to paint fumes, dust, noise, industrial solvents, and moving equipment.
