Your surface prep and coating skills translate directly into the durability and aesthetic appeal of massive industrial components. It is the ideal setup for a reliable professional seeking a high-stability career home with flexible scheduling options and an excellent local reputation.
What You Will Be Doing Surface Preparation:
Performing high-quality surface preparation, including professional-grade sanding, masking, and chemical cleaning of large-scale industrial components.
Coatings & Mixing:
Mixing industrial coatings, primers, and catalysts to exact specifications, managing optimal drying times and finish hardness for long-term corrosion resistance.
Spray Application:
Operating advanced liquid spray equipment and precision touch-up tools to apply protective and aesthetic finishes to heavy-duty machinery.
Final Detailing:
Executing final product detailing, including the accurate alignment, placement, and application of vinyl cut graphics and branding decals onto finished parts.
Material Rigging:
Safely utilizing overhead bridge cranes and industrial forklifts to transport, flip, and position massive steel fabrications within the prep and paint booths.
Booth Maintenance:
Managing painting consumables, filtering systems, and performing routine preventative maintenance on booth equipment to maintain peak efficiency.
Shop Collaboration:
Collaborating with the welding and assembly teams to meet daily production deadlines while adhering to strict safety and cleanliness protocols.
What We Are Looking For Proven Painting Foundation:
At least 1 year of hands-on experience utilizing liquid spray systems, automotive wet paints, or high-durability industrial coatings.

A sharp eye for finishing aesthetics with the patience and precision required to perform flawless prep, avoiding runs, sags, or orange peel.
Physical Capability:
Fully capable of safely wearing a respirator for extended periods and comfortably maneuvering around large, heavy industrial weldments.
Employment Reliability:
A rock-solid, stable work history demonstrating long-term commitment and reliable attendance with past employers; frequent job-hopping is a disqualifier.
