Search Position Summary:

We are seeking a dependable Powder Coat Painter to prepare and coat metal components using powder coating equipment. This role will be responsible for producing quality finishes while following safety and production standards.

Responsibilities:

Understand job orders and interact with Epicor. Read, comprehend, and execute processes and procedures according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) which are necessary to properly operate the equipment and manufacture the product. Understand, complete, and maintain all required paperwork necessary in the operation, including entering paperwork into Epicor. This also includes daily production reports, tally sheets, scrap reports, etc. Maintain and operate hand tools necessary to set up, take apart, troubleshoot, and operate paint equipment. Powder coat parts per customer's specifications Perform required quality control checks and inspections to ensure the product being manufactured meets required specifications. Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely

Requirements:

High school diploma required, and technical secondary education is preferred. Minimum of 1 year of experience in Powder Coating or Paint 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment. Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors prior to powder coating Must wear a respirator on a frequent basis while painting Ability to lift 50 pounds Must be able to read, write and comprehend plant directives written in English. Comfortable with frequent standing, bending, lifting, and reaching

AM Compensation:

$20.00 per hour
