Paint Prep Technician

Superior Industries is seeking a Paint Prep Technician. Your role will be pivotal in prepping surfaces for painting, maintaining top-notch quality, and upholding a safe work environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, applying fillers, and verifying smoothness. Measure and record pre and post-sand dry mill thickness accurately. Maintain paint prep equipment through daily maintenance routines. Mask areas not to be painted and ensure clean paint lines. Operate machinery safely, maintain a clean work environment, and adhere to safety protocols. Compensation The starting pay range for this position is $19 - $24 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.
