$22.86 Spherion is seeking an experienced industrial painter for a premium manufacturing company in Owatonna, MN. This position will require experience with wet paint.

Responsibilities:

Build and repair Dehumidifier rotor cassettes. Weld the wheel into the frame. Assemble motors and drive chains. Complete electrical wiring of the wheel. Read drawings for design, dimensions, and tolerances. Calculate surface area to be finished and coverage expectations. Apply paint or other surface treatment to metal or other surfaces utilizing brush, roller, spray gun, or other appropriate method. Determine finish material purchase and inventory requirements based on planned consumption. Provide details regarding material needs to the Materials Control Team for procurement.

Working hours:

7:00 PM - 5:00

AM Skills:

High school graduate or equivalent is preferred. Shop courses or equivalent experience is helpful. Three years work experience in painting is preferred.

Education:

High School Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:

Ability to routinely lift 50 pounds. Two years of experience in automotive or industrial painting including experience with HVLP (high volume low pressure) systems is helpful. Familiarity in using standard safety equipment in the industrial paint environment.
