Job Description
At Stinger Attachments, we manufacture agricultural and construction attachments from raw steel to finished products—all under one roof. As a rapidly growing company, we ship products directly to customers and dealers across the United States. We are currently seeking a full-time Product Finishing Technician to join our production team. This position plays a critical role in the final appearance and quality of our products by preparing steel components and applying high-quality industrial paint finishes. We use top-of-the-line SATA spray equipment and are looking for someone who takes pride in producing a quality finished product. Job Duties
- Prepare steel products for painting using hand grinders, flap wheels, sanders, and other power tools.
- Remove slag, weld spatter, burrs, and sharp edges to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Wash, clean, and prepare products for paint.
- Apply industrial paint coatings in the paint booth using SATA spray equipment.
- Mix paints, primers, and coatings according to company procedures.
- Inspect painted products for quality, finish, and coating consistency.
- Perform touch-up work and correct defects as needed.
- Clean and maintain paint equipment and the paint booth.
- Assist with product assembly and other production tasks as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Qualifications
- Manufacturing, industrial painting, fabrication, or construction experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience using hand and power tools is preferred.
- Willingness to learn industrial painting techniques and continuously improve your skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment. Work Schedule
- Four-day work week
Monday-Thursday:
6:30 AM - 5:00 PM- Overtime on Fridays as workload requires
- No scheduled weekend work Pay & Benefits
- Starting pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Performance reviews with opportunities for wage increases after 30 days and 1 year, with additional increases based on performance and growth.
