Duties and Responsibility of Painters Maintain clean, safe and organized work environment Setting & adjusting settings of paint equipment Setting up components for painting according to specifications Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety Perform painting and refinishing tasks on trailers Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results Apply paint using various techniques such as spraying Ensure proper drying and curing of painted surfaces Inspect finished work for quality and make any necessary touch-ups or corrections Some material handling and forklift driving may be required Painter Qualifications Proficient with hand tools Self-motivated Problem Solver Safety Conscious Good Attendance & Safety Record Strong attention to detail and ability to match colors accurately Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in a physically demanding environment 1yr Minimum previous painting experience in a similar manufacturing plant or at an automotive repair shop is preferred Base pay is based on experience About us Armor Lite provides competitive wages, room for advancement, affordable insurance including medical, dental, and vision, vacation pay, holiday pay, and a 401k plan which the company matches after a year of investment.
