Position requires proficiency in collision and structural repair, estimating, along with the ability to mentor and train technicians in the Body & Paint shop. Experience with hydraulic pulling equipment and welding is strongly preferred. This role requires both production & administrative skills. Pay is based on experience, tools, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities & Duties Repair vehicle off the estimate, along with assisting with estimates, and communicating with customers and insurance contacts Disassemble, identify hidden damage to vehicle, and mark all parts from that job, including palletize each vehicles parts and miscellaneous items Prep and repair damage in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures Fill out final check sheet Assist, train, and support in our paint booth Other job duties as assigned, which will include some mechanical tasks on medium & heavy duty vehicles Academic, Certifications & Trade Qualifications Minimum high school graduate or GED Understanding of basic and fractional math Driver's license with clean driving record Work Experience, Skills & Strengths Mechanically inclined Able to lift and carry 75LBS unassisted Be able to stand, crouch, and be on your knees for long periods of time Able to maneuver around heavy machinery Healthy in fast paced environments Must have or be willing to acquire tools for position Estimating experience a requirement A minimum of three years of work, directly in the truck & trailer industry, preferred
