Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying protective and decorative coatings to various industrial surfaces, ensuring quality standards are met while maintaining a safe work environment. Your expertise will help deliver durable, high-quality finishes that meet project specifications and client expectations. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces through sanding, cleaning, and surface preparation techniques suitable for industrial painting and coating applications Operate spray guns, airless paint sprayers, powder coating equipment, and other power tools to apply coatings efficiently and evenly Interpret production documents, including work orders and technical specifications, to ensure accurate application of materials Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirators and respiratory protection devices Handle materials carefully using proper materials handling procedures to prevent waste and ensure safety Perform quality inspections through visual color comparison and coating thickness measurements to guarantee finish consistency Maintain a clean work area, properly store materials, and document completed tasks in accordance with production standards Skills Proven experience with industrial painting techniques such as conventional spraying, airless paint spraying, and powder coating methods Mechanical knowledge related to surface preparation, auto body repair, machining, and assembly processes Ability to interpret manufacturing instructions and production documents accurately Familiarity with construction painting surface preparation and finishing processes Strong understanding of safety protocols including PPE use, respirator maintenance, and respiratory protection measures Skilled in the operation of power tools, coating spray guns, and auto painting equipment Basic math skills for measuring coating thicknesses and calculating material requirements Knowledge of quality standards in production environments to ensure high-quality finishes consistently Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to excellence in industrial painting!
