Monday-Thursday 6:30am-5pm, Overtime Friday 6:30am to 3 pm

Bi-Weekly Productivity & Performance Bonus About the Role Mickey Truck Bodies is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Paint Prep Technician to join our Truck and Trailer Manufacturing team in High Point NC. This position plays a critical role in preparing truck bodies and components for painting and refinishing in a fast-paced manufacturing and fleet service environment. If you take pride in quality workmanship and enjoy hands-on work, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Prepare truck bodies, panels, and components for painting by sanding, grinding, cleaning, masking, and taping Remove rust, old paint, grease, and surface contaminants Perform minor body filler work and surface smoothing as needed Wash, wipe down, and solvent-clean surfaces prior to paint application Mask and protect areas not to be painted Assist painters by staging parts and materials Inspect prepared surfaces for defects and correct issues before painting Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and PPE Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED preferred Previous experience in paint prep, autobody, manufacturing, or industrial finishing preferred Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and sanding equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Willingness to learn and grow within the role Work Environment Manufacturing and repair shop environment Exposure to noise, fumes, insulation materials, metal dust, and moving machinery Temperature variations depending on season Fast-paced, deadline-driven production setting Benefits Bi-Weekly Productivity and Performance Bonus Paid Vacation Time Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance (employee cost share) Wellness Plan with Incentives Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Company-Paid Short-Term Disability Insurance Company-Paid Long-Term Disability Insurance Company-Paid Basic Life Insurance with
