We're looking for a young, ambitious, and experienced, reliable Ceramic Coating Technician who can consistently deliver high-quality results while working independently at customer locations. Responsibilities Professionally apply ceramic coatings to customer vehicles. Perform full paint corrections, including compounding and polishing to remove or significantly reduce swirls, oxidation, scratches, and other paint defects. Properly inspect and prepare paint before ceramic coating application. Perform complete exterior washes and decontamination as part of the coating preparation process. Perform interior details when included with a customer's ceramic coating package. Maintain a clean, organized work environment and properly care for all equipment provided by Noctic Coatings. Communicate professionally with customers when arriving at and completing jobs. Take quality before-and-after photos/videos when requested. Travel throughout Raleigh and surrounding service areas using your personal vehicle. What We're Looking For Applicants should have hands-on automotive detailing experience and a strong understanding of: Ceramic coating preparation and application Machine polishing Multi-stage paint correction Swirl and defect removal Proper washing and decontamination techniques Interior detailing Safe use of professional detailing equipment and chemicals You should be comfortable working independently without constant supervision and take pride in producing consistent, professional results. Schedule & Workload A typical ceramic coating appointment may take approximately 6-7 hours , depending on the vehicle's condition, required correction, and technician experience. As you become familiar with our process and develop an efficient routine, jobs may be completed in less time while maintaining our quality standards. Work volume will depend on scheduled customer appointments. Transportation This is a mobile position . Technicians must have reliable personal transportation and be willing to travel to customer locations throughout Raleigh and surrounding areas . Noctic Coatings will provide the detailing equipment and products necessary to complete scheduled services.
