Job Overview Vegas Precision Collision Center is currently seeking an experienced Painter Shop Manager to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Painter Shop Manager to lead our collision repair team at a busy auto body and paint shop. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of the painting department, ensuring high-quality auto painting, body repair, and finishing work. Your leadership will drive efficiency, uphold safety standards, and deliver exceptional customer service. Duties Lead and supervise the auto painting, buffing, detailing, and auto body repair teams to ensure work meets quality standards and deadlines Coordinate daily shop operations, including workflow planning, job assignments, and progress monitoring Oversee the proper use of hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and buffing equipment to achieve optimal results Ensure adherence to safety protocols, proper handling of hazardous materials, and compliance with OSHA regulations Manage inventory of paints, supplies, and equipment; place orders as needed to maintain smooth operations Provide training and mentorship to team members on techniques such as auto painting, welding, auto glass replacement, and vehicle maintenance Maintain detailed records of repairs, estimates, and customer interactions to support quality assurance and billing processes Skills Proven dealership or collision center experience with a strong background in auto body repair and painting Skilled in auto painting techniques including airless paint spraying and buffing for flawless finishes Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance, auto restoration, and general mechanic experience Proficient with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting safely performed in a busy shop environment Knowledge of auto estimating software and customer service best practices for effective communication with clients Familiarity with auto glass replacement procedures and detailing processes to enhance vehicle appearance Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and safety standards Proven ability to develop new client accounts, secure fleet contracts, and build strong client relationships.
Requirements:
Previous experience in automotive paint shop management Certification in body repair preferred. Strong leadership and organizational skills Knowledge of collision repair and refinishing processes Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data. I-CAR training/certification preferred Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year.
