PM Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Powder Coater / Painter to prepare and powder coat a variety of surfaces, including steel, aluminum, and other metals. This position requires attention to detail, knowledge of coating techniques, and the ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Functions:

Prepare and powder paint a variety of surfaces including steel, aluminum, shop-coated metal, uncoated metal, finished hardware, and accessories as specified. Apply protective powder coatings to equipment, parts, and miscellaneous metalwork. Ensure proper surface preparation and coating quality according to specifications. Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level can be loud, and the temperature is not regulated.

Required Education and Experience:

Knowledge of painting and coating methods and techniques. Understanding of safe use, storage, and disposal of paints, cleaning products, and chemicals. Familiarity with safe cleanup techniques and practices. Auto body painting experience is required
