Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance their durability, and ensure a high-quality finish that meets client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from restoration to new construction, utilizing your skills in surface preparation, painting techniques, and safety compliance. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, plastering, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paint, coatings, stains, and sealants using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including conventional and construction spray painting), and power tools with precision and consistency Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and surface specifications to execute projects accurately Use ladders safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas while adhering to all safety regulations and protocols Conduct surface testing for color matching through visual comparison and ensure color consistency according to project requirements Perform renovation tasks such as fixture installation, drywall repair, stucco application, and concrete finishing as needed Follow all safety regulations by wearing respiratory protection and other personal protective equipment (PPE), maintaining a safe work environment at all times Skills Extensive experience in residential painting as well as commercial and industrial coating applications Strong knowledge of construction site procedures including surface preparation and blueprint reading Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including both conventional and construction spray systems), brushes, rollers, caulking guns, and other relevant equipment Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately for precise application of coatings Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction painting including respiratory protection and hazard awareness Skilled in color theory for accurate color matching and visual color comparison techniques Experience with renovation projects involving plastering, stucco application, fixture installation, restoration work, handyman tasks, remodeling, maintenance tasks including concrete finishing Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for estimating materials or adjusting project specifications Construction estimating skills are a plus for assessing project scope and material needs Join our team if you're passionate about delivering top-quality finishes while maintaining a safe work environment!
