Up to $21.00 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule:

Monday Thursday, 6:00 AM 4:30

PM Overtime:

Friday, 6:00 AM 2:30 PM as needed We are looking for an experienced Industrial Painter for a full-time position in Akron, Ohio. This is an industrial painting position requiring experience with professional industrial painting processes and equipment . We are specifically looking for candidates with hands-on industrial painting experience. Responsibilities Prepare metal and other surfaces for painting Clean, sand, grind, and properly prepare surfaces Mix and apply industrial paints and coatings Operate industrial painting equipment Apply primers, paints, and protective coatings according to specifications Inspect finished surfaces for proper coverage and quality Maintain painting equipment and work areas Follow safety procedures when handling paints, coatings, solvents, and equipment Work independently to complete assigned painting projects Qualifications Previous industrial painting experience required Experience with spray painting and industrial coatings preferred Knowledge of surface preparation and paint application techniques Ability to read and follow job specifications Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Please note: This position is not intended for candidates whose only painting experience is in a retail paint department such as Lowe's or Home Depot. Automotive/car painting experience alone does not meet the requirements for this position.
