Duties Prepare surfaces through construction painting surface preparation and materials handling to ensure optimal coating adhesion and finish quality Mix and apply coatings accurately using mechanical knowledge and basic math skills to achieve consistent results Use visual color comparison tools and precision measuring instruments to verify coating quality and color accuracy Maintain safety protocols by properly using personal protective equipment (PPE), respirators, and respiratory protection at all times during coating processes Conduct quality checks according to established standards in production, ensuring each finished product meets specifications Handle warehouse operations related to materials storage, movement, and inventory control within a manufacturing environment Skills Proficiency with industrial painting techniques including powder coating, construction painting surface preparation, and auto body repair surface prep Experience operating power tools, machining equipment, and assembly tools necessary for coating application and finishing tasks Ability to interpret production documents such as work orders, process sheets, and technical specifications accurately Knowledge of safety protocols related to PPE use, respiratory protection, and handling hazardous materials in manufacturing settings Familiarity with warehouse experience for materials handling and inventory management Strong attention to detail for visual color comparison and quality assurance checks Mechanical aptitude with basic understanding of manufacturing machinery and tools used in coating processes Physical ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis (bags of materials, aggregates, pails) This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in industrial painting, coating application, and manufacturing operations.
