Job Description

PrideStaff Akron is hiring a paint line trainee for a company located in Akron, OH!
Title:
Assembly Painter Trainee Shift:
1st Shift (6:00AM-2:30PM Monday-Friday)
Pay:
$16.00
Location:
Brimfield, OH Key Responsibilities Prep & Inspect:
Inspect parts for quality; clean surfaces with paint thinner to remove grease, dirt, and oil.
Masking:
Mask off areas that should not be painted.
Mixing & Painting:
Mix paint according to specs; spray products evenly and fix any drips or runs.
Maintenance:
Clean and maintain painting equipment.
Other Duties:
Assist with other shop tasks as needed.
Key Qualifications Steady Hand & Precision:
Strong hand-arm steadiness and control precision for smooth paint application.
Sharp Vision:
Excellent near vision and color discrimination (ability to match shades and brightness).
Manual Dexterity:
Ability to efficiently handle, grasp, and manipulate tools and parts.
Requirements:
Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen. All candidates must submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $16.00 - $17.00 Per Hour
