293519758 Report this job Apply Now Save To My Profile Email Print Job Description The Industrial Painter/Laborer performs general painting and coating work as directed by their supervisor (foreman or superintendent). The Industrial Painter/Laborer performs the physical work activities necessaiy for industrial construction. Painting and coating may range in size and scope from large new objects to components that have been previously used. The Industrial Painter/Laborer will spend long hours standing and/or walking. The physical demands will include lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or carrying objects. Work will require the use of hand tools, power tools, machine1y, mobile equipment, and other coating trade equipment. Work may include working at heights and in confined spaces. Duties will be performed at Bolt Construction/Bolt Fabrication in Youngstown, Ohio. The Industrial Painter/Laborer is responsible for performing their work in a safe and timely manner, complying with company rules, and following instructions from supervision. This is a full-time position (40 hours). The positions may require more than 40 hours per week, depending on project needs and deadline objectives. Work Monday through Friday during the day with occasional work at night and/or weekends, depending on time-sensitive deadlines. Work week is occasionally 4/ten-hour workdays. The normal workday is generally from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM but is subject to change as circumstances dictate. Generally, 30 minutes are allotted for unpaid lunch breaks; it is highly recommended to pack a lunch.- Requirements
- Pass pre-employment physical
- Physically able to perform construction work activity without restrictions
- Able to lift and carry 60 pounds
- Successful completion of training requirements
- Fluent English (written and verbal)
- Have and maintain a Valid Driver's License
- Have a clean driving record
- Pass a criminal background check
- Pass pre-employment drug (including THC) test and random drug testing thereafter
- OSHA requires a new employee to be fit-tested
