Job Description

This position is for a 12 hour/day weekend only shift•Friday, Saturday & Sundays only. Working 36 hours and getting paid for 40 hours.
Day Shift:
6am•6pm
Night Shift:
6pm•6am

Job Summary:
Paints aircraft detail parts and assemblies in accordance with customer and company specifications and requirements while using proper personal protective equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Paint aircraft detail parts and assemblies in accordance with customer and AEI specifications and requirements Mix and measure all types of paint in accordance with instructions Use HVLP guns, pressure pots, and cup guns in performance of duties Operate and calibrate paint thickness meter as needed Monitor shelf life of all materials Maintain clean work area, tools, and equipment Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function and assigned task satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, competency, and/or abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Previous related experience preferred. Must be able to wear proper personal protective equipment. Ability to apply basic math, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to communicate verbally in one-on-one situations with management and co-workers; listen to others without interrupting and get clarification when needed. Ability to safely and properly use paint equipment such as sprayers; calipers, and other tools and equipment. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds with assistance. Ability to identify proper materials and supplies according to specifications. Strong attention to detail and focus on quality and accuracy. Exhibits dependability, including following instructions; responding to supervisor's direction; and taking responsibility for own actions. Ability to take initiative, including asking for and offering help when needed; performs work independently without being prompted Ability to prioritize and plan work activities; use time efficiently; and work within deadlines. US Citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR requirement)
