Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Paint Foreman to lead our steel fabrication shop's painting and coating department. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on experience with industrial coatings and a commitment to quality, safety and productivity. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the preparation, application, and finishing of steel components, ensuring all work meets stringent quality standards and safety protocols. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of paint shop personnel. Schedule and prioritize work to meet production deadlines. Ensure proper surface preparation, coating application and curing processes. Maintain compliance with company safety standards and OSHA regulations. Train, coach and evaluate paint department employees. Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met. Monitor paint inventory and coordinate material needs. Work closely with production, quality control and management teams. Troubleshoot painting and coating issues and implement corrective actions. Maintain equipment and ensure proper operation of paint systems. Qualifications

AMPP/NACE CIP

Level 1, Basic Coatings Inspector Previous supervisory experience in industrial painting, steel fabrication or a related manufacturing environment. Knowledge of industrial coatings, blast preparation and paint application techniques. Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and specifications. Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills. Experience with airless spray equipment preferred. Understanding of safety regulations and quality control procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced prouction environment.

Pay:

$50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
