Industrial Painter Johnstown, PA 1 DAYS AGO 22685030 Summary Johnstown, PA In-Person Competitive Salary 1 Years Experience High school graduate or equivalency certificate (GED) No Commission 40.00 hours per week / Evening, Night, Weekend Shift / Full-Time Description Successful candidates will use different spray applications to apply protective coatings to both commercial and defense components.
Essential Duties:
Mixes paint according to specifications. Moves switches and dials to start flow current and to activate conveyor and paint spraying equipment. Readjusts pressure valves to control direction and pattern of spray and to correct flaws in coating. Inspects painted units for runs, sags, and unpainted areas. Hand sprays parts to cover unpainted areas. Cleans paint from ceiling and walls of booth, conveyor hooks or grid, and from disks, cones, spray heads, and hoses.
Experience:
Work requires a minimum of one (1) year of experience in industrial painting, powder coating, and/or CARC. Vo-tech or other training may be substituted for experience. Auto body painting experience is preferred. Work requires a high level of attention to detail, and the willingness/motivation to learn to operate all of our painting equipment.
