Job Title:

Industrial Spray Painter Job Description We are seeking a skilled Industrial Spray Painter to join our team. This role involves preparing and applying coatings to metal and composite surfaces using spray equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with HVLP, electrostatic, or airless spray systems and a strong commitment to safety and quality. The work will support US Government projects, including maritime, parts & components, machinery, and internal buildings & structures. Responsibilities Prepare and apply coatings to metal and composite surfaces using spray equipment. Use HVLP, electrostatic, or airless spray systems efficiently. Work on large structural steel painting, particularly those with bridge painting experience. Perform tasks in compliance with safety and quality standards. Occasionally work at customer sites. Essential Skills 1-3 years of painting experience, with 5-7 years ideal. High School Diploma or equivalent. Mechanical aptitude and a good work ethic. Ability to lift 50-60 lbs regularly. Experience using hand tools and performing physical work. Experience working on construction job sites. OSHA 10 certification required. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with pneumatic sprayers, paint guns, and spray painting techniques. Familiarity with industrial painting, sandblasting, and paint preparation. Work may be performed inside and outside, with shifts that may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on production needs. The facility is located in the Mid-Atlantic area with over 200,000 square feet of fabrication space, offering extensive resources and opportunities for growth. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $32.35/hr.
