Duties Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Experience in Bar Joist paint Execute commercial painting tasks using various techniques including conventional spraying, airless paint spraying, and brush or roller application Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately follow project specifications and color schemes based on color theory principles Conduct surface repairs such as plastering, stucco application, masonry work, and renovation tasks to create smooth and durable finishes Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for surface preparation, fixture installation, and minor carpentry or trim work Maintain strict adherence to safety regulations by utilizing respiratory protection, proper scaffolding procedures, and hazard awareness during all phases of work Assist with construction estimating by assessing project scope, material needs, and labor requirements for painting jobs Skills Extensive experience with construction site painting including surface preparation and spray applications Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to construction painting environments and respiratory protection practices Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and schematics for precise execution of projects Skilled in color theory to achieve accurate color matching and visual color comparison for aesthetic consistency Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, scaffolding equipment, and welding tools safely and effectively Familiarity with renovation processes such as fixture installation, restoration work, drywall finishing, and framing carpentry Basic math skills for measurements, calculations of paint quantities, area coverage estimates, and project planning Join us if you're passionate about transforming spaces with your craftsmanship!
