Job Description

Job Description Collins Aerospace is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter I to join our team in Jamestown, ND. This role is essential to delivering high-quality, visually stunning products that meet the rigorous standards our customers expect. This will be for 4th shift: Friday-Sunday from 6am - 6:30pm.
What You Will Do:
Responsible for priming and final painting of detail parts and final assemblies to current spec requirements Maintain paint equipment, mix paint, paint control. Follow standard operating procedures and specifications Mix paint to specified viscosity Clean, assemble and adjust spray guns and equipment Wash, wipe and sand parts when necessary Mask and prep parts for paint as required Cure parts after topcoat application Operate Chart recorders
Qualifications We Require:
Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline
Qualifications We Prefer:
Basic computer skills; Excel, Word, Email Able to operate a curing oven and chart recorders. Ability to interpret blueprints
