Job Title:
Industrial Paint Sprayer / Sandblaster Job Description This role focuses on preparing and finishing metal chassis and parts through sandblasting and high-quality paint application. You will clean, mask, and inspect all components before and after blasting to ensure they meet strict quality standards and are ready for industrial painting in a production environment. Responsibilities Blast chassis and metal parts using appropriate sandblasting equipment to achieve required surface preparation. Clean all substrates thoroughly before sandblasting to remove contaminants and ensure proper adhesion of coatings. Mask components accurately to protect areas that should not be blasted or painted. Perform quality control inspections on all parts prior to sandblasting to verify they meet preparation requirements. Conduct sandblasting operations safely and efficiently in a production environment. Remove excess metal and unwanted materials from metal parts, castings, and other metal products using appropriate tools and techniques. Inspect all blasted parts to ensure they meet company quality standards and surface profile requirements. Prepare blasted parts for paint application, including final cleaning and surface inspection. Apply paint using HVLP spray guns or similar equipment within a paint booth or designated painting area. Follow industrial painting procedures to achieve consistent coverage, finish, and durability. Maintain sandblasting and painting equipment, including spray guns and booths, in clean and working order. Adhere to all safety procedures and production guidelines while working in an industrial manufacturing environment. Essential Skills At least 2 years of sandblasting experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Proficiency in sandblasting techniques for metal chassis, parts, and castings. Hands-on experience with industrial painting processes. Ability to use HVLP spray guns and other spray equipment for paint application. Knowledge of paint preparation processes, including cleaning and masking. Familiarity with working in a paint booth or dedicated painting area. Strong attention to detail for quality control inspections before and after blasting. Ability to remove excess metal and unwanted materials from metal parts safely and accurately. Capability to work effectively in a production setting with consistent output and quality. Additional Skills & Qualifications Manufacturing experience is a plus. Experience in industrial production environments involving sandblasting and painting. Comfort working with industrial equipment such as sandblast systems, spray guns, and paint booths. Ability to follow detailed work instructions and quality standards. Strong work ethic and reliability in meeting production schedules. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position operates in an industrial, non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment. You will work around sandblasting and painting equipment, including spray guns, paint booths, and production machinery. The role requires comfort working in varying temperatures and industrial conditions. Company shirts are provided as part of the attire, and you will follow standard safety and protective equipment requirements appropriate for sandblasting and industrial painting work. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Granbury, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
