Paint Process Technician - 2nd Shift | $ 34.72/hr

Shift:
2nd Shift | 2:30 PM-10:30 PM Are you an experienced manufacturing technician with a background in painted-parts production, robotics, paint processes, and equipment troubleshooting ? We're seeking a skilled Paint Process Technician to support automotive paint production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on technical role for someone who understands paint application processes and enjoys troubleshooting equipment, maintaining production flow, and improving quality and efficiency. What You'll Do Start and stop the paint line according to production schedules and safety requirements Monitor and control paint operations, including robots and application equipment Support paint booths, water-treatment processes, and related production systems Inspect paint application processes to ensure quality and conformity Perform basic maintenance on paint robots, spray guns, jigs, applicators, and other equipment Troubleshoot process deviations and help minimize paint-line downtime Participate in root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions when defects occur Support continuous-improvement initiatives focused on product and process quality Monitor and optimize the use of primer, basecoat, clear coat, hardeners, and solvents Follow HSE requirements, including LOTO and grounding procedures Support paint-line safety, quality, OEE, scrap reduction, and process standardization What We're Looking For 2-3 years of painted-parts production experience required Technician certification or technical training in areas such as: Mechanical Electrical Hydraulics Pneumatics Knowledge of robotics and paint application processes Basic computer skills Strong troubleshooting and structured problem-solving abilities Ability to follow established safety, quality, and production standards Strong teamwork and communication skills
