Job Description:

Join our dynamic ATM/Signage team as a Paint Prep Technician, where your expertise in surface preparation and refinishing will set the stage for flawless ATM's & Signs' stunning paint jobs. In this role, you'll be the vital first step in delivering high-quality restorations, ensuring ATM's and Signs are perfectly prepped for painting and finishing. Your mechanical skills, attention to detail, and passion for craftsmanship will drive success in a fast-paced, rewarding environment dedicated to excellence. The paint prep technician will take our signs from the fabrication department, sand, then clean the fabricated components in preparation for paint. This individual will need to drive a forklift safely when required to move items that they are prepping.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding to ensure proper adhesion of paint. Maintain work area for efficiency, cleanliness and to meet Company safety standards. Participate in daily and weekly shop cleaning and maintenance. Follow all company safety standards including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Perform additional responsibilities as directed by your supervisor.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Minimum 1 year experience in automotive paint/ body work. complete requests in a timely and professional manner. Proper use of hand and power tools including sanders, drills, etc. Obtain and maintain forklift certification.

Physical Requirements:

Maintain respiratory certification including annual physical and respirator fit test (if required) Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and move about the shop. Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 80 pounds. Must be able to safely use a ladder. Must be able to drive a forklift. Join us if you're passionate about ATM's & Signs craftsmanship!
