Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Powdercoating Painter to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality powder coating finishes to a variety of metal components and products, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced industrial environment where precision, safety, and craftsmanship are paramount. Your expertise will help us deliver top-tier products that meet strict quality standards while maintaining efficient production workflows. Responsibilities Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal coating adhesion. Operate airless paint spraying equipment and other power tools to apply powder coatings evenly across components. Use precision measuring instruments and hand tools to verify dimensions and surface quality throughout the coating process. Handle materials safely using forklifts, cranes, and proper materials handling techniques to move heavy or bulky items. Conduct inspections of finished products using basic math skills and auto body repair knowledge to ensure coating consistency and defect-free surfaces. Maintain a clean work environment by following lean manufacturing practices and adhering to safety protocols. Assist with fabrication, assembly, or auto painting tasks as needed within the manufacturing process. Qualifications Prior experience with industrial painting, auto body repair, or auto painting is highly desirable. Familiarity with powder coating equipment such as airless paint sprayers and spray booths. Mechanical knowledge related to machining, welding, fabrication, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Warehouse experience including materials handling with forklifts, cranes, and other lifting devices. Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings; experience with precision measuring instruments is a plus. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction. Strong attention to detail with good basic math skills for measurements and quality checks.
