Upstate Stripes is looking for a dependable, hardworking Parking Lot Striping Technician to help complete commercial pavement-marking projects throughout Greenville and the surrounding Upstate South Carolina area. This is a hands-on position that primarily involves restriping and laying out parking lots, including parking spaces, ADA markings, directional arrows, curbs, lettering, and other pavement markings. Most projects are completed during evenings, overnight hours, or weekends when parking lots are empty. Prior striping experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who is reliable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable performing physical work. Responsibilities Operate parking lot striping equipment Measure and lay out new parking spaces Restripe existing parking lots accurately Apply ADA symbols, arrows, lettering, numbers, and curb markings Prepare pavement by cleaning and removing debris Load, unload, clean, and maintain equipment Set up cones and maintain a safe work area Follow project plans and communicate with the crew Complete work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards Travel to job sites throughout Upstate South Carolina Qualifications Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Available to work evenings, overnight hours, and some weekends Able to lift at least 50 pounds Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong attention to detail Dependable and able to arrive on time Able to follow instructions and work independently Parking lot striping, painting, construction, landscaping, or equipment-operation experience is preferred Experience operating a line-striping machine is a major plus

Pay:

$24.00 - $29.45 per hour
