  • No Weekends The Painter reports to the Paint Supervisor and is responsible for preparing surfaces using power washer and cleaners to remove contaminants.
Fill the machine tanks with a mixture of paints or chemicals to prescribed amounts.
Key Roles:
Observes and adjusts system gauges appropriately. Perform routine maintenance to keep equipment functioning properly. Understands paint application technic. Electric-Stat and Air-Assisted paint systems Painting applies to various products to produce clean, evenly coated finish, free from visual defects such as runs, sagging, light or missing paint, grit, contamination, adhesion, mill scaling, etc.
Responsibilities :
Checks products for defects and corrects imperfections. Use a spray gun to apply touch-ups as necessary. Ensures proper lifting techniques; including proper hoist usage, asking for assistance, or any other measure to ensure safe lifting techniques are completed. Keeps a neat and clean work environment. Strives for an injury free workplace through a "safety first" attitude. Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. All other duties are performed as necessary.
Qualifications :
High School Diploma/GED preferred. 3-5 years of industrial or autobody painting experience preferred. Forklift Certified preferred.
