Yankton, SD Pay Rate:
$21.00 - $33.00 per hour

Industrial Painter Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 1 year of work experience; industrial painting experience preferred. Valid driver's license required. Experience using paint application equipment, hand tools, and power tools. Ability to read and follow work instructions and production specifications. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. ERP system experience (Epicor or similar) and Lean Manufacturing knowledge are a plus Physical Capabilities Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment. Comfortable working in high-heat conditions while wearing a respirator, paint suit, and required PPE. Ability to safely use tools and equipment in various working positions. Job Duties Prepare, paint, and finish manufactured parts using customer-specific industrial coatings. Operate and maintain industrial spray guns, sandblasting equipment, pressure washers, overhead cranes, and scissor lifts. Inspect painted products for quality, accuracy, coating thickness, and compliance with specifications. Monitor paint inventory, replace filters, and communicate supply needs to supervisors and purchasing teams. Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and quality standards in a manufacturing environment. Maintain equipment, clean spray guns, and keep work areas organized and safe. Assist other production departments as needed and support continuous improvement initiatives. Benefits vary by client and are confirmed at the time of offer.
