This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse tasks, from surface preparation to applying high-quality coatings, ensuring structures are both durable and visually appealing. Duties Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces such as metal, concrete, and masonry for painting or coating applications Apply primers, paints, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint sprayers), and conventional spray equipment Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and surface specifications to ensure accurate application of coatings on structural and industrial surfaces Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and performing surface repairs to meet project standards Use hand tools and power tools safely for surface preparation tasks including metal preparation, sanding, and coating removal Follow strict safety regulations by wearing hearing, barrier, and respiratory protection and adhering to safety protocols during all operations Skills Proficiency in residential and commercial painting techniques including brush painting, roller painting, dry brushing, and construction spray painting Knowledge of color theory to achieve desired aesthetic outcomes with visual color comparison skills Skilled in using ladders safely for high-reach areas and working at various heights on construction sites Familiarity with surface preparation processes such as sanding, cleaning, and application of various industrial coatings Ability to operate various tools including hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (airless), and conventional spray equipment Strong understanding of safety regulations related to construction painting environments including respiratory protection standards Experience with industrial coating applications for structural steel or machinery; knowledge of renovation processes across different building types Basic math skills for measurements and calculations; experience with blueprint reading and interpreting technical specifications Background in construction site experience with emphasis on remodeling, maintenance tasks, fixture installation, framing carpentry or handyman work Join us in delivering top-tier surface treatments that stand the test of time!
