Automotive Bodyshop bodyman/ painter/helper DFW paint and Body shop Dallas, TX Job Details Temporary | Part-time | Full-time | Contract $600 - $1,500 a week 10 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork Attention to detail Welding Sanding Automotive buffing Full Job Description Key Responsibilities Assist senior technicians with panel replacement, straightening, and alignment of frames and body panels Prep surfaces by sanding, masking, and cleaning—ensuring zero dust, dirt, or debris before paint Mix and apply OEM-spec paints, primers, and clearcoats in our state-of-the-art paint booth Perform quality inspections at each stage to detect and correct imperfections (specks, orange peel, runs) Wet-sand, buff, and polish finished panels to achieve a showroom-quality gloss Help with metal fabrication, welding, and minor dent repair as needed Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and compliant with all safety protocols What We're Looking For Hands-on experience in an automotive collision or bodyshop environment In-depth knowledge of OEM paint systems and tint-matching processes Meticulous attention to detail—you won't settle for anything less than a flawless finish Own basic bodyshop tools (sanders, applicators, welding helmet, etc.); we supply consumables and paint Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a booth environment Strong teamwork skills and a dedication to maintaining a pristine workspace call/text 469-569-1405.
