Industrial Painter/Sandblaster

Fox Tank Company Kerrville, TX Experienced Industrial Painter / Coater Technicians Needed Full Time Position, Minimum 40 Hour work week

Job Description Primary Function:

Conducts painting / coating activities for

Fox Tank Company Duties & Responsibilities:

∙Clean surface of product to be painted or coated. ∙Dip or spray parts as necessary to achieve required thickness ∙Installation of components after parts have been painted/coated ∙Clean paint / coating equipment. Must be able to work in confined spaces sandblasting and coating tanks internally.

Qualifications:

∙High School graduate or hold a GED certificate, or, ∙Must demonstrate sufficient knowledge of the functions required to operate paint/coating equipment. ∙Two (2) years experience as a painter in a similar field.

Training:

Quality Management System familiarization, initially and whenever revisions occur to applicable quality system documents that pertain to your job position and/or where job positions are changed and/or where job requirements are changed or modified. Personnel whose work can affect quality should be informed about the consequences to the customer of nonconformity to quality requirements. Ensure that its personnel are aware of the relevance and importance of their activities and how they contribute to the achievement of the quality objectives. Applicable SDS as required. Where required by local, state and/or national law.

Tools, Machines/Equipment:

Basic hand tools - hammer, pry bar, screwdrivers, etc. Equipment - forklift, telehandler, overhead cranes, etc. Safety/operational training will be provided in house. Machine/equipment needed to maintain continuity of company operations. Spray rig equipment, high volume air compressors.

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 50 per week
