Industrial Painter

PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Industrial Painter position supports the company, and client, in all fabrication painting needs. This position ensures that all painting needs are conducted in a safe, efficient, accurate, and timely manner. This role provides a great opportunity to learn and grow within the company.

PRIMARY DUTIES

Prepping fabricated metal components for painting Uses various tools and techniques to apply industrial paint on metal products Act as a liaison between painting department and other departments, to ensure expectations are met and exceeded in terms of rental equipment fabrication Trouble shoot all painting issues for the most efficient way to get the equipment to the customer Maintain professional and ethical business relationships with all customers and co-workers following the established company policies and procedures Produce all required documentation accurately, completely, and in a timely manner Communicates with the team for ordering and stocking of needed parts, equipment, and supplies Communicates with team for coordinating delivery and pickup of parts, equipment, and supplies Foster good working relationships with clients and team members Be an ambassador for safety, making sure all work is done in the safest manner Continuous growth of knowledge for all Company products and inventory Assist with stocking all parts, equipment, and supplies Maintain a clean work environment Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by Management

EDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIRED

Must have a minimum of 2 years as an industrial painter working in a fabrication shop Must be knowledgeable of various industrial painting tools and techniques Must be able to multi-task and work on many different projects at one time Must be able to work independently, and in a team environment, to prioritize and accomplish assigned projects Must be detail oriented and organized Must be able to stand, sit, and kneel for long periods of time in all weather conditions, e.g., hot and cold temperatures Must be able to frequently lift 50+ lbs.
