American Cargo Group is one of the nation's leading manufacturers of enclosed cargo trailers, and we're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Production Painter to join our team in Waco, Texas. If you have experience with automotive, industrial, RV, truck, or equipment painting and enjoy producing a high-quality finish, we'd like to talk with you. What You'll Do As a Production Painter, you'll be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing enclosed cargo trailers and trailer components while ensuring every unit meets American Cargo Group's quality standards.

• Prepare trailer surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and inspecting prior to painting.
• Apply undercoating and finish coats using company-approved spray equipment and procedures
• Maintain consistent paint quality, coverage, and finish appearance
• Inspect completed work and perform touch-ups as needed to meet quality standards
• Move trailers and components safely into and out of the paint booth
• Clean and maintain spray guns, hoses, and other paint equipment
• Keep the paint booth and work area clean, organized, and operating efficiently
• Follow production schedules while maintaining quality and productivity standards
• Follow all company safety policies and required PPE procedures
• Work as part of a team to ensure trailers are completed safely, efficiently, and on time What We're Looking For
• Manufacturing, automotive, industrial, RV, truck, or equipment painting experience preferred
• Experience with HVLP spray equipment is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Dependable attendance and a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Physical Requirements This position requires regular physical activity in a manufacturing environment. To perform the essential functions of this job, the employee must be able to:
• Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
• Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, squat, reach, and twist
• Move around, under and inside trailer frames to apply paint and undercoating to all required surfaces
• Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
• Work in a paint booth and around industrial equipment
• Work in varying temperatures and manufacturing conditions Respiratory Protection & PPE Requirements Because this position requires the use of respiratory and protective equipment, candidates must be able to meet the requirements of American Cargo Group's Respiratory Protection Program and applicable OSHA regulations
• Successfully pass a post-offer respirator medical evaluation
• Successfully pass an annual fit test for a full-face respirator
• Be clean shaven where the respirator seals to the face while wearing the respirator
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods, including a full-face respirator, full Tyvek protective suit, chemical-resistant gloves, eye protection as required, and rubber boots
