PrideStaff Position Overview PrideStaff is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter / Blaster in Wharton, TX. This is a critical role in the production process, ensuring that every custom-built trailer meets high-quality aesthetic and protective standards.

Compensation & Schedule Pay Rate:

$25.00•$28.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Shift:

Monday•Friday | 7:00 AM•5:00

PM Status:

Full-Time Key Responsibilities Surface Preparation:

Utilize abrasive blasting (sand/bead blasting) to remove scale, rust, and debris from raw steel trailer frames.

Masking & Prepping:

Tape off and protect areas not intended for coating (wiring, axles, hitch components).

Coating Application:

Apply primers and finish coats using industrial spray equipment (HVLP or airless systems) to achieve a smooth, even, and durable finish.

Quality Control:

Inspect finished products for runs, sags, or "orange peel" and perform touch-ups or buffing as necessary.

Equipment Maintenance:

Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of spray guns, lines, and blasting booths to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications & Skills Experience:

Proven experience in automotive or industrial painting. Auto-body repair/painting experience is highly preferred due to the precision required.

Technical Skill:

Proficiency with spray guns and various coating types (primers, enamels, polyurethanes).

Detail-Oriented:

Ability to identify surface imperfections before the final coat is applied.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to wear required PPE (including respirators and blasting suits) and work in a manufacturing environment that involves standing, bending, and lifting. Benefits of working with
