Job Description

Our client is a full-service surface-finishing company specializing in the commercial aerospace, defense, space, and satellite industries. They serve prominent clients such a s Boeing, the U.S. Army, and various sectors within aviation. The Masking involves protecting the surfaces of parts that do not require processing and preparing small airplane components through cleaning and sanding.
Responsibilities:
Review customer paperwork for masking, unmasking, and painting instructions. Inspect incoming parts for damage, scratches, or other defects, and unpack items received in accordance with company standards. Sand, clean, and prepare parts for painting. Process and mask parts according to shop work orders, specifications, and drawings. Collaborate closely with more experienced maskers and painters to complete tasks and prioritize work. Handle and transport materials within the facility in accordance with company procedures. Manage hazardous materials safely and in compliance with state and federal regulations. Follow supervisor instructions and perform other duties as required.
Skills:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required. Ability to pass a drug test and a background check. Experience in production or manufacturing is a plus. On-the-job training is available.
