Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Powder Coat / Sandblast Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing metal components through sandblasting and applying high-quality powder coatings to ensure durability, corrosion resistance, and a professional finish. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced finishing techniques in a fast-paced industrial environment. Your expertise will contribute to delivering top-tier products that meet strict quality standards, all while maintaining a safe and efficient workspace. Responsibilities Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces of metal parts, ensuring optimal adhesion for coatings Apply powder coatings using airless paint spraying equipment, ensuring even coverage and high-quality finishes Set up and operate forklifts and cranes for materials handling, moving parts safely within the workspace. Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to prepare surfaces for coating Conduct quality inspections utilizing measurement tools and visual assessments to verify coating adherence and surface integrity. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols related to manufacturing, welding, and industrial painting processes. Qualifications Experience operating forklifts, cranes, and hand tools in a manufacturing or warehouse setting. Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and material quantities. Prior experience with sandblasting, powder coating application, airless paint spraying, or industrial painting is desirable but not required.
