Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Shoe Cleaning Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for cleanliness and quality, and a love for footwear. You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining a variety of shoe types—including athletic, leather, suede, and designer shoes—to ensure the highest standard of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean various types of footwear using appropriate tools, products, and techniques. Inspect shoes for damage, wear, and cleaning needs before starting the process. Remove stains, scuffs, dirt, and odor using professional-grade cleaning agents. Perform detailing work, including lacing, deodorizing, and conditioning. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cleaning station and tools. Communicate with customers regarding shoe care requests, progress, and special needs. Track work orders and ensure timely completion of services. Stay informed on industry best practices and new shoe care products.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in shoe care, retail footwear, or a similar field is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Customer service skills and a professional attitude.
Working Conditions:
May involve standing or sitting extended periods and using cleaning chemicals. Flexible schedule may be required, including weekends or holidays. Very lineant.
