Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a skilled Controls and Instrumentation Specialist to join our team for a large-scale infrastructure project. You will play a critical role in the successful deployment and optimization of complex facility automation systems, ensuring that mission-critical environments operate at peak efficiency through precise calibration and expert troubleshooting. Responsibilities Execute the installation and precise termination of control wiring for various field devices and panels. Configure and integrate field instrumentation, including flow, pressure, and temperature sensing equipment. Analyze complex electrical schematics, P&IDs, and loop diagrams to ensure accurate system implementation. Drive the commissioning process by performing rigorous point-to-point checks and signal verification. Diagnose and resolve communication faults and wiring discrepancies to maintain system integrity. Collaborate with engineering teams to finalize system startup and document necessary field modifications. Uphold the highest standards of quality and safety throughout the entire project lifecycle. Qualifications Required Skills 3+ years of professional experience in instrumentation and controls. Demonstrated proficiency with Siemens PLC platforms and I/O checkout. Advanced ability to interpret technical blueprints and wiring diagrams. Proven track record in loop calibration and field device troubleshooting. Strong understanding of low-voltage control systems and industrial standards. Preferred Skills Prior experience within data center or mission-critical facility construction. Background in process controls or industrial automation integration. Strong communication skills with a focus on collaborative problem-solving. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
