Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Valve Technician. Responsibilities As a Valve Technician, you will be responsible for the following, including, but not limited to: Responsible for assembly of all automated packages Follow all established standard operating procedures for valve automation including maintaining a safe and organized workspace and observing necessary safety precautions during assembly, testing, storage, and transfer of product Follow all proper procedures for set up, use and maintenance of tools, and equipment in the automation center Courteous interaction and communication with inside and outside sales, management, and warehouse personnel Professional interaction with customers when addressing questions and concerns about automated packages Troubleshoot automated packages, in house and in the field, to perform necessary work and repairs Assist with developing automated valve sales training program Perform functional automated valve testing, record, and store data Work closely with inspectors to meet customer demands Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following: 3 to 5 years of experience with Valve & Automation assembly and repair is preferred but not required Basic knowledge of computers Ability to read and understand customer technical data and schematics Ability to multi-task and meet order deadlines Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control Be goal oriented, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines, build relationships, and enjoy a team atmosphere Possess a positive attitude Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills A self-motivator and have an ambition to succeed Enthusiastic, courteous, and articulate Ability to learn quickly At Ferguson, we care for each other. • Pay Range:

• $17.17
• $33.83
• Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
• This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
• Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
