Multiple Offices Across Florida & Texas (Hybrid/On-Site Opportunities Available)
Salary:
Up to $130,000 annually (based on experience) + comprehensive benefits About the Role We are seeking experienced Building Automation Systems (BAS) Controls Engineers to join our growing team across multiple office locations in Florida and Texas . This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in designing, programming, commissioning, and servicing building automation and controls systems for commercial and industrial facilities. Whether your expertise is in healthcare, higher education, mission-critical facilities, government, or commercial buildings, we have opportunities to match your experience. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement BAS control strategies for HVAC and mechanical systems Program, configure, and commission building automation systems Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related BAS issues Perform system start-ups, testing, and commissioning activities Integrate third-party systems using industry-standard communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, etc.) Interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control schematics Collaborate with project managers, field technicians, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery Optimise existing control systems to improve energy efficiency and building performance Prepare project documentation, sequences of operation, and commissioning reports Provide technical support and training to customers when required Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience with Building Automation Systems or HVAC controls Experience programming and commissioning BAS platforms Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and mechanical equipment Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, and other building automation communication protocols Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities Valid driver's licence with the ability to travel locally to project sites Preferred Experience Experience with one or more of the following platforms is highly desirable: Siemens Johnson Controls (Metasys) Trane Tracer Honeywell Schneider Electric (EcoStruxure) Distech Controls Alerton Niagara N4 (Tridium) Automated Logic (ALC) What We Offer Competitive salary of up to $130,000 , depending on experience Performance bonus opportunities Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and company holidays Ongoing technical training and professional development Career advancement opportunities across multiple locations in Florida and Texas Company vehicle or vehicle allowance for eligible positions Laptop, phone, and necessary tools provided Locations We are actively hiring for multiple offices throughout Florida and Texas .
