Job Description

Urgently Hiring Automation Controls Technician Career Recruiting Specialists is seeking an Automation & Control Technician for a growing / expanding manufacturing client in Middle GA. In this role you support automated production systems. This is a hands-on role focused on troubleshooting, maintenance, and equipment improvements. This is a Direct Hire role with the client.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and automated control systems Support and maintain production equipment Diagnose issues with motors, drives, and sensors Perform preventive maintenance Assist with equipment installs and upgrades
Requirements:
Associate's degree or electrical certification Experience with PLC programming (Rockwell preferred) Knowledge of drives, servo systems, and automation controls Strong troubleshooting skills
Preferred:
5+ years in manufacturing Mechanical/Electrical and pneumatic repair experience Experience with Auto
CAD, ISO
standards, electrical licensing, or related experience
Education:
Associate (Preferred)
Experience:
AutoCAD:
1 year (Preferred)
Electrical Certification:
1 year (Preferred)
Knowledge of ISO Standards:
1 year (Preferred)
Manufacturing:
1 year (Preferred) Mechanical and pneumatic repair : 1 year (Preferred) PLC programming (Rockwell preferred): 1 year (Preferred) rives, servo systems, and automation controls: 1 year (Preferred) Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong customer service orientation during field service tasks.
