Job Description
Job Summary The candidate will provide support to the operational unit by facilitating safe approaches associated with installation, repair & maintenance tasks relative to all types of control, measurement, instrumentation and electrical components. This role requires a strong understanding of Electrical and Instrumentation (E & I) principles, as well as proficiency with logic controllers and distributed control systems. The Instrument Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of measurement and control systems within our facility. Duties Have a basic understanding of the following (or possess the aptitude necessary to learn within the first year of employment) necessary to install, repair & maintain: Dehy, amine, compressor plant power and control systems. Pipeline Compression Station and emergency valve communications, power & control Electronic flow meters (orifice, Mag, turbine, & ultra-sonic measurement) and relative equipment. Pressure, flow, level & temperature indicating equipment. Compressor and PDC building safety equipment (fire and gas sensing equipment) Programmable logic controllers Ignition and SCADA systems Gas chromatograph, moisture, H2S, 02 and CO2 analyzing equipment. Remote valve control logic. Rebuild control valves, regulators,Programmable logic controllers.
