Position Overview We are hiring a Testing and Troubleshooting Technician to test, diagnose, and validate our mission-critical and explosion-proof HVAC systems before shipment. This role ensures each unit operates safely and meets performance requirements. What You'll Do Perform functional testing of HVAC units, including electrical, mechanical, and control systems Verify system performance against design specifications and operational requirements Execute start-up procedures and ensure all components are operating correctly Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and control system issues Troubleshoot PLC controls, wiring, and HVAC components to identify root causes Work with engineering and production to resolve defects and implement corrections Document test results, issues, and corrective actions clearly and accurately Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and field troubleshooting as needed What We're Looking For 5+ years of HVAC and electrical troubleshooting experience in an industrial or commercial environment Strong working knowledge of compressors, coils, fans, and controls Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and ability to read schematics Basic PLC troubleshooting experience preferred Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Why Join Safe Air Technology High-impact work on complex industrial equipment Team-oriented environment focused on precision and quality Opportunity to help improve build quality and processes Benefits 401(k) with company match Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid time off and holidays Important Note Pay is based on experience and skill level.
