Take the next step in your career with us! Position Specific Description We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Instrumentation and Controls Production Technician. The selected candidate for this position will be responsible for performing maintenance on a combined cycle power plant in Bellingham, Massachusetts. Other duties will include maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment. Two years power plant, industrial turbine, or equivalent military experience is required Combined cycle operations experience is highly desirable Follows all the safe work practices and procedures Perform maintenance activities to the degree the individual is qualified and in a safe manner Proficient in the ability to interpret power generation systems, procedures, Piping and Instrumentation drawings Experience with Control Valves and Positioners is desirable Experience with a computer maintenance management system (like Maximo) is desirable Experience with Emerson Ovation control systems desirable Experience with CEMS Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems desirable Electrical maintenance and troubleshooting experience desirable Massachusetts Steam Fireman 2nd Class highly desireable Job Overview Employees in this position perform power plant operations as well as maintenance on station equipment. Job Duties & Responsibilities Under general supervision: Repairs and calibrates equipment Monitors equipment performance through testing Applies advanced electrical, mechanical, or I and C skills Performs other job-related duties as assigned Required Qualifications High School Grad /
GED Experience:
2+ years Valid Driver's License (NON-CDL) Preferred Qualifications None The estimated base pay for this position is $79,200.00 to $118,800.00 per year. Starting pay will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, job-related and industry knowledge and skills and education/training.
