This role is responsible for accurately measuring residential projects using advanced laser templating technology and creating precise digital templates for fabrication. The ideal candidate has experience with LT-3 Raptor software and laser templating systems such as the Laser Products 5X LP+ or L2D3D Laser Templater , understands stone fabrication, and enjoys working directly with homeowners, builders, and designers. Responsibilities Perform precise digital laser templates for kitchens, bathrooms, fireplaces, showers, outdoor kitchens, and custom stone applications. Operate Laser Products 5X

Laser Templater , or similar digital measuring equipment. Utilize LT-3 Raptor software to create accurate digital templates for fabrication. Verify cabinet installation, levelness, support requirements, and overall jobsite readiness before templating. Identify potential installation challenges and communicate them to the Project Management and Production teams. Review seam locations, material direction, overhangs, edge profiles, sink locations, cooktops, faucets, and customer preferences during the template appointment. Confirm all appliances, sinks, faucets, and other required accessories are on-site prior to templating. Take detailed jobsite photos and document any field conditions requiring attention. Upload measurements, notes, and photos promptly for CAD programming and fabrication. Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, designers, and installers throughout the templating process. Maintain company vehicles, laser equipment, and tools in excellent working condition. Assist with quality control by ensuring templates are fabrication-ready and meet Boston Counters' standards. Qualifications Experience templating natural stone, quartz, porcelain, or solid surface countertops preferred. Experience using LT-3 Raptor software. Experience operating Laser Products 5X

Laser Templater , or similar laser measuring systems. Strong understanding of countertop fabrication and installation processes. Ability to read architectural drawings, shop drawings, and construction plans. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and customer service skills. Comfortable working independently while coordinating with office and production staff. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on active construction sites. Preferred Skills Knowledge of cabinetry installation and construction. Familiarity with stone fabrication software and CAD workflows. Experience coordinating with CNC programming and production teams. Ability to identify layout opportunities that minimize seams and maximize material yield.
