Job Description

Benchmark Automation & Controls, the Mid-Atlantic's premier specialist in energy management and automation, is seeking a Controls Technician in the Baltimore, MD and Northern VA area! The ideal candidate is a technically strong, customer-focused professional who can manage a skilled team of technicians, ensure top-quality service delivery, and drive overall operational excellence. What we hope you bring to the table:
Experience:
4+ years in an industry-related field, including
HVAC Systems and DDC Systems Know-How:
Deep understanding of BAS control components, control strategies, and programming.
Software Proficiency:
Tridium Certification and Schneider Electric experience would be a plus, but not a requirement. What you'll do: Provide expert service to our existing EMS/BAS systems to ensure optimal performance. Dive into service installation projects, from sensor and relay upgrades to programming tweaks and controller replacements, always pushing the boundaries of what's possible. Conduct proactive preventive maintenance visits, safeguarding our systems and ensuring they operate flawlessly. Partner with our service team to troubleshoot, resolve, and verify service issues, ensuring seamless operations.
