Monday - Thursday; 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Penmac Staffing is hiring a Valve Body Technician for a local automotive remanufacturing company in Springfield, MO. This is a full-time opportunity for a mechanically inclined individual who enjoys working with tools, following detailed procedures, and producing quality work. Candidates with automotive, mechanical, manufacturing, or repair experience are encouraged to apply. The Valve Body Technician is responsible for disassembling, cleaning, rebuilding, testing, and inspecting valve body components while following established procedures and quality standards.

RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED required1-2 years of experience in automotive, mechanical, manufacturing, or a related field preferredExperience using hand tools and power tools requiredValid driver's license requiredStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsGood computer skills and ability to learn proprietary softwareExcellent attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructionsStrong communication and teamwork skillsReliable transportation and dependable attendanceAbility to lift up to 50 poundsResponsibilitiesMaintain a clean and organized work area, including tools, work benches, and floorsFollow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent quality and accuracyUse proprietary software to order parts and create build materialsDisassemble and clean valve body componentsAssemble and rebuild valve bodies according to specificationsTest completed valve bodies and related electronic components, including sensors and solenoidsInspect components and completed products to ensure quality standards are metMaintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the repair and rebuild processCommunicate effectively with supervisors and team membersPerform additional duties as assignedApply online or contact Penmac Springfield for more information.
